| Alt. Common Name : | |
| Bird Family : | Acrocephalinae - Tesias, stubtails, warblers, tailorbirds & allies |
| Bird Group : | PASSERIFORMES |
| Red Data Status : | Unspecified |
| Remarks : | Caught in habitat which would be described as a mixture of forest, grassland, scrubland and urban. The warbler actually accidentally flew into our quarantine area (though I do actively mistnetting and have a ringing license). It looked like sort of exhausted or/and disoriented and was easy to catch. From this I assumed it might be a newly arrived migrant. This was supported by the fact thatat the time I spotted (heard) this year's first returned Brown Shrike Lanius cristatus – the most common migrant in the Philippines. - PH |
