| Bird Family : | Falconidae - Falcons, falconets & kestrel |
| Bird Group : | CICONIIFORMES |
| Red Data Status : | Unspecified |
| Remarks : | While watching Blue Rock Thrushes, I spotted a Black-thighed Falconet enter a hole in the limestone cliff
50 feet up. This is one of the few times I wished I had digiscoping capabilities! Very poor shots, but I am confident from the behaviour that it is a nest.
The way the adult entered, left the hole & the bringing of food. Literature quotes nests mainly in holes in trees, but cliff hole nestiung has also been documented. - Amar |
