Remarks :Suheldev Wildlife Sanctuary is the only Bhabhar habitat or sub-Himalayan habitat in Uttar Pradesh but very neglected by Birders community and Forest department. But it has well avian fauna. It is connected with Banke National Park in Nepal. Due to human pressure in Suheldev Wildlife Sanctuary, maximum birds are moving into Banke National Park. For example, I saw only one pair of Indian Pitta in Pipra Range of Suheldev Wildlife Sanctuary while more than 20 pairs have been seen in outskirts of Banke National Park, while both sides was same habitat. Human pressure for wood in Suheldev created big difference. - VT
