Remarks :This raptor is not always easy to spot (or photograph) due to the small size, often overlooked. Much commoner that appreciated. Often using the cliffs in my city to nest and many untouched limestone outcroppings have a pair. I also used to see them in some urban home l have lived in. In Ipoh City also present in the heart of the city in large parks and at the hospital I work in.

Spotted one adult with prey see individual and composite of prey in flight. This was at a limestone outcropping in the city at 10.40 am. I think the prey is a small bat but hard to say with the height and images taken handheld in flight. The bird then stopped on a branch to tear the prey & eat it. - Amar
