| A bird with a missing toe-nail photographed on 6/1/2008 (2 images) and again on
28/10/2008. I do believe that the individual is the same.
The waterside location is across from my house, and I can see the birds
(not photograph them) from my balcony with bins. The birds visit this
location twice - in Jan/Feb and Sept/October. There are not enough host
species around for the visits to be nesting related. Males are occasionally
seen with the females. - SKS
