| Remarks : | Apparently this species. The colour of the bill seems to be due to a coating of mud. - Ed
This individual appears to be suffering from a colour aberration known as Progressive Greying, rather than Leucism. So the bird must have developed these white feathers at a later age. (In leucism proper the white feathers are already present in the juvenile plumage and the pattern will not change during life.) - Hein van Grouw |
