| Remarks : | Unusually long entrance tube for a nest of this species. It was not less than 1 meter and was hanging from tall grasses along a canal. ( I have never seen such long nests thereafter.). I think the bird made such a long entrance tube to prevent snakes from entering the nest. - NM |
