| Remarks : | We identified an error that a number of reviewers have perpetrated, i.e. the subspecies of C. jugularis on Buton.
Our images show that Buton is populated by C. j. plateni and not C. j. infrenatus [as recorded in Cheke & Mann 2008 Family Nectariniidae (Sunbirds) in Handbook of the Birds of the World, Volume 13].
