| Remarks : | Ever since Jugal Tiwari's fantastic record of the Pale Rock Sparrow from Kutch a fortnight ago, Mr. Poonia has been reminding me of a flock of birds which he had photographed and sent to me almost a year and half ago from Tal Chapar. At the time I had dismissed them as Petronias despite his protests that the birds were very different. He'd tried to find the pics in his huge collection of CD's.. but hasn't yet..
Today he's found what I think is a flock of Pale Rock Sparrows in Chapar. If not for Jugal we'd have completely overlooked these birds as we did last time. - Sharad Sridhar |
