| Remarks : | This bird made us do some cross-country running before we could get clear views of it! It was amazing to observe the bird exactly follow a largish circle (~50m radius) for its feeding beat. It was almost predictable -- broken tree stump, on the ground, low bush, mid canopy of a pine tree, and so forth! In its 3rd round, we waited for it rather than follow it. - RS |
