| Remarks : | This bird and its mate were trapped in March 2001 and fitted with a transmitter weighting 3.8 grams, enabling the researchers to find their nest, which was extremely well hidden in a fir tree. This photo was originally published on the front cover of Chinese Journal of Zoology, 38, no 3, 2003 to illustrate article by Jing Yu, Sun Yuehua, Fang Yun, Notes on the natural history of the Sichuan Jay (Persoreus internigrans), 91-92 (in Chinese).
