| Remarks : | This is apparently the largest recorded site for Swinhoe's Plover by a long margin. I did a head count on Shanghaizai Beach and found 148 birds, including two chicks, seven juveniles and 60+ pairs. There were also several groups of two males chasing a female. The juvenile shot is interesting as it is the first time a juvenile has been photographed. My count on Dahu Beach, Haifeng, Guangdong, which is about 500ms away from the former was 131 birds.
