| Remarks : | Another surprising sight was the observation of 2-3 Asian Glossy
Starlings with white eyes at a bird feeder. They were usually together with many Asian
Glossy Starlings with red eyes. Does anyone know anything about the taxonomic status of the Asian Glossy Starlings on the islands of Pulau Banyak? It seems that only the subspecies on the Nicobar Islands (India) is known to have white irides. - PN |
