| Remarks : | I was in Baguio a few days ago and quite happy to see some birds for a change. I saw swarms of the Mountain White-eye at the DENR. They are skittish & frisky but a sight to see. They seem to favour the flower Calliandra as they take bites of the flower and fly away. As I was waiting for their return, out of nowhere, I saw another tree with a lot of moving white figures feeding on the flowers. Because they were numerous they look like Christmas tree decoration on a green tree with red flowers. It was a brief moment that makes birding a pleasure of seeing something new and unexpected. - ET |
