| Remarks : | It was only in 2008 that Tomohiko IIDA published his findings that non-breeding Japanese Murrelets were to be found in the Seto Inland Sea between the prefectures of Yamaguchi, Hiroshima and Ehime. It took a little over an hour to find one - but only one! Apologies for the less than crisp images but I was in a tiny, rocking boat trying to take hand-held shots with a 500mm lens. - PM |
