In the field KB noted a pale rump.
The local confusion species is Moluccan (Sulawesi) Swiftlet Collocalia infuscata which is actually a very distinctive bird with overall darker underparts / underwings, contrasting with a pale belly
and particularly a clearly defined thin white rump band. The field guide confuses the issue by stating that Uniform Swiftlet lack a pale rump, which they do show, although very diffuse and only a little paler than the upperparts. - Rob Hutchinson
