| Bird Family : | Apodidae - Swifts, Swiftlets & Needletails |
| Bird Group : | APODIFORMES |
| Red Data Status : | Least Concern |
| Remarks : | One-and-a-half month old juvenile. As the nestling reaches near adult-size it spends a lot of time clinging on the rim of the nest. This is how it exercises the flight muscles, i.e. by firmly grasping onto the nest and flapping its wings. It is quite a comical sight - as if the nestling is trying to pull the nest off the wall! - LCK |
