| Remarks : | Certainly a rare sight. I saw it only for the first time during my various trips to the Himachal. It has a very restricted range. A group of about six (both male & female) was seen in the undergrowth, in a stony area with huge Pine/ Deodar tree jungle at Haura Thaatch (around 8500 ft.), where light could hardly pierce & reach the ground level. I had to use ISO 1600 to get a 1/125 sec. shutter speed at around 8 a.m. - JMG |
