| Remarks : | This species was very vocal from 1600 masl to 2500 masl, mostly perching on tall trees facing the valleys. Other cuckoos that we heard/saw along with this species include Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo, Eurasian & Oriental Cuckoo. Several species (especially the babblers) were breeding. This individual kept spreading its tail while it called continuously. - AS |
