| Remarks : | The young bird just two days before it was found dead. The parents were daily bringing rats for the young to eat, which is quite visible in the photos, and I suspect that it was a poisoned rat that killed the baby! (As this was in an oil palm plantation and rat baiting was on-going in some parts of the estate.) - JP |
