| Remarks : | The birds were feeding on a ripe fruit of the Tarap Tree Artocarpus odoratissimus. I took this in an oil palm plantation where these birds are quite common but are very wary. Most of the time I could only photograph them in flight. When perching they are very difficult to approach. This photo was taken when the birds came to feed on a fruit tree right outside my plantation quarters and shot through a wire mesh and insect net screen. - JP |
