| Remarks : | Hi folks, Sighted this 11 inch lone adult Starling feeding on the field in front of my office at 6:10pm yesterday 18/9/2002. Saw it again around 9:00am this morning 19/9/2002 and managed to take a few shots with my digiscoping gears. This species is not supposed to be found in Malaysia and therefore likely escapee and if it is, the bird would have escaped for a while as its feathers seem to be intact and very neat. I was informed that the same species has been reported several times in Malaysia before, also expected to be escapees. Any comment or feedback from our local birders for me? OBY |
