| As far as is known the last captive Pink-headed Duck survived until at least 1948 in Calcutta.

The photograph was taken "in 1929 at Foxwarren Park Cobham, England in the collection of Alfred Ezra and shows all ten live Pink-headed Ducks shortly after their arrival from Sir David Ezra in Calcutta".
