| Remarks : | An apparently undescribed taxon, which is currently undergoing study. Known from higher elevations at Mae Wong National Park in Thailand's western forest complex. It has been know since at least 2012. It ppears most likely that this is a subspecies of Black-throated Parrotbill rather than a separate new species and it is therefore featured under that species pending final confirmation. - Eds. |
