| Remarks : | A lone bird stranded on the beach was sighted by a local fisherman, who later contacted Amol Lopes, a local bird watcher from Vasai, who managed to rescue the bird. The bird was exhausted and was not able to fly and was full of bird fleas. It took feeding of small fishes once but denied it on next day. Due to its exhaustion the bird did not survive and died the next day. - PD |
