A rare winter visitor. This bird is a passage migrant at Pong Lake.

This year I first saw a single individual on 9th March. After that I visited the place regularly. In my seven visits, in past one month, they were seen in good numbers. More than 10 individuals were also seen in one visit. They are still here and on 13 April I saw five individuals.

This year I also observed Rosy Pipit, Water Pipit and Buff-bellied Pipit assuming breeding plumage. The area was full of these pipits. - AC
