Remarks :First record for Mongolia: One P. fulicarius moulting from juv. to 1st winter plumage, together with 5 Red-necked Phalaropes P. lobatus (out of focus in the photograph) and other waders from at least 30 August to 2 September 2004 on open water in the oasis. Observers: Jürgen Fiebig and Alf Sichting.
