| Remarks : | Generally spurfowl pairs do not admit a third, except here - this bird was in close association with a female that appeared to feed it. This bird also appeared slightly smaller than the male female pair with which it was associated - they remained together. High pitched clucking kept the party of 3 together with furtive feeding just outside dense cover. Note duller plumage and greyish features on face, less bright than a female that has a more rufous face and bill. - RD |
