| Remarks : | The Common Ringed Plover can be seen from late April till early May at Pong Lake. They are regular passage migrants here.
Two individuals were seen at different places about 2.5 km apart. There was a difference of behaviour between these two individuals. One was very territorial and stayed in the same patch for the whole day and was chasing away any small wader that was coming near it, and other was shy and kept on changing its location. - AC |
