| Since childhood from about 1992, birding and studying wildlife became my passion of life and finally it led to make me a professional in the birding and wildlife field. Whilst in the field I used to do field sketching and it greatly enhanced my capabilities of wildlife art. Now I do wildlife paintings as a profession besides Natural History Tour Leading. To be used as reference material for my paintings I started wildlife photography recently. But my camera is just a 5.1 mega pixel 12X digital, which I think would meet my requirements.
I am a member of Ceylon Bird Club and a former instructor of the birds group of Young Zoologist’s Association of Sri Lanka. In addition I work in both research and conservation activities while furthering my academic qualifications.
