| Som GC was born and brought up in the lap of one of the most famous National Parks in Asia - Chitwan National Park - where he got the opportunity to develop his passion and love for birds, wildlife and nature. Som is a fanatic bird and nature conservationist and for that has been awarded for Nature Conservation in Nepal in 2014. He started birding at the age of 12.
Som is a full time birding, wildlife and photography tour leader for Nepal and India. He has been leading tours since 1998. He has also documented four new birds for Nepal (two as a team leader and two as a team member). |
