| I hail from Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India). I'm basically an Electrical & Electronics Engineer and I have done my Masters in Solar Energy. Ever since I was a child I was fascinated by arachnids, raptors, passerines and wildlife in general. Photography came much later as an interest. Initially it was just about distinguishing bird calls, spotting & observing a creature in its natural habitat without disturbing it. About 4 years ago I picked up a decent wildlife camera and ever since then I've been roaming around the country trying to document the various flora and fauna a particular place has to offer. Roaming in and around Gujarat particularly in the Little Rann of Kutch, The Dangs & parts of the Aravalli Range.
Over the years I have observed and documented several raptors: mainly falcons, vultures, owls, hawks, etc. as well. I hope to continue to do so with the aim of contributing in whatever manner I can and thereby interacting & learning from other members and scientific professionals of this community. |
