| Being a resident of Ramnagar in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, I spent my entire childhood among the natural beauty of the forests of Corbett National Park and hills of Nainital. After completing graduation I joined the IT sector for bread and butter, but just after one year my love for wildlife and specially birds, started to pull me back in the lap of nature. So I left the desk job and started birding and organizing birding tours in Uttarakhand.
Started photographing birds with a Canon Point and Shoot camera and later used Canon 600D and Canon 7D cameras with Sigma 70-300 mm and 150-500 mm lenses. Currently I am using a Nikon D7200 body with Nikkor 200-500mm lens.
My several photos have also received state level awards and have been published in various magazines. Few of my papers and sightings have also been published in various journals and newsletters.
Except organizing tours I am continuously working with Forest Departement of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for promoting Birdwatching in the states alongwith training programs and workshops for the locals and forest staff.
As it is said that the most suitable job for a person is when his/her passion becomes the profession. So I started living my life among the feathered beauties from 2011 and still loving it.
