| I am occupied as the Principal of an Arts & Science College namely Sir Syed College in Kerala, India having 31 years of PG teaching experience. I am aged 54. Basically, I am a Botanist, and a newly discovered plant has been
named after me by the discoverers as Rotala khaleeliana.
I served as the
Course Director of the Department of Environmental Studies of Kannur
University. I am a research guide and Chairman of the Board of Studies in Botany of Kannur University and could produce 4 Ph.Ds under my supervision.
Completed 3 major research projects. I was awarded national level BOLT best
teacher award in 2004 constituted by Air-India. Published 38 papers in National and International refereed journals and 3 books and presented papers in International conferences held at Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Taiwan, etc. Attended COP 11 of Ramsar held at Romania and COP 11 of CBD at Hyderabad in 2012. Also a member of state level expert appraisal committee
of Govt. of India meant for environment clearance. Director of Environment programme of Oisca International. There are records of the first sighting and first photograph of 8 birds under me. My hobbies are photography and
