| I am an eye specialist by profession practising at Cannanore. Worked as an observer at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London some time ago. Early in the morning and on Sundays I am an inquisitive birdwatcher and photographer. Watching a Blue-tailed Bee-eater catch its prey and smash it against a wire before swallowing the bee sparked my curiosity about birds and their behaviour. I live by the side of the Indian Ocean and I like shore birds. I am the first Indian to have ever photographed the Buff-breasted Sandpiper in South Asia at Cannanore on 30 October 2011. |
