| | Jan Willem den Besten is a Dutch National with a degree in Environmental Science. He has lived in Himachal Pradesh in India for 12 years where much of his birding has concentrated, resulting in the photo guide `Birds of Kangra’ published in 2004 by Moonpeak Publishers and Mosaic Books. He publishes articles on birds in the area and contributes photographs for various publications. In 2003 he co-founded Kangra Bird Club. |
