| I am a Kolkata-based birder, and bird photography is my passion. I love to visit forests and hills to take photographs of birds. I am a Biology teacher by profession (M.Sc in Zoology from the University of Calcutta) and I have been teaching in a Delhi-board school of Kolkata for the last 4 years. I take my school students to the outskirts of the city for birdwatching, to make them aware of the importance of conservation of various bird species. Sometimes I arrange for seminars and slide shows on birds and wildlife in my school. Students take an active part in such programs and they also take a lot of interest in birds and their habits and habitats. |
