Hodgson’s Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus (Hierococcyx) fugax sensu lato has been split into four species:
Hodgson’s Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus nisicolor, Northern Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus hyperythrus, Philippine Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus pectoralis and Malaysian Hawk-Cuckoo Cuculus fugax.
