Remarks : USNM 316130, co-type of Gallicolumba menagei, a male collected by Bourns and Worcester on 10 Oct 1891 at Tataan, Tawitawi, Philippines. Only one other male skin is known, also in the Smithsonian Collections.

Taxonomic Notes :Monotypic species endemic to Tawi-Tawi in the Philippines.
