Some bulbuls are hard to spot as they prefer the high canopy of the
primary forest. This includes the Streaked Bulbul. A rather dull
olive-green bulbul above with streaks on its breast and a longish
beak. Its larger size helps identification as does its rather odd
calls that almost sound like those of a flowerpecker.
Saw a pair feeding on some fruit with many other birds (Ashy Bulbuls,
Red-eyed Bulbuls, Leafbirds, Flowerpecker, Sunbirds, etc.), high in
the canopy.
