Remarks :I usually do not attempt to image swallows when they are flying low over the ground but this flock caught my eye. They were hawking for insects after the grass had just been cut and for some reason decided that getting close to me would be a “macho” activity. So, as they took turns to fly past, I tried my best to grab some images. The majority were adults but lacked the usually tail-streamers with a little more rufous below, making me think that they may be H. r. tytleri. But not really uniformly rufous as you’d expect. A number were juveniles. - Amar
